My experience at this luxurious hotel was exceptional. the rooms were equipped with exclusive amenities such as an electronic safe, coffee maker, and mini, bar. the Spa & wellness center was top, notch, with a sauna, full body massage, and an indoor swimming pool. the location advantage of this hotel is that it is surrounded by a serene garden area and has a sun terrace, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing sundowner. The Restaurant and Bar/Lounge area offered an impressive range of drinks and in, room breakfast was readily available. Cons: Despite the myriad of luxurious facilities, the only downside was that there was no outdoor swimming pool. However, the exceptional service provided by the friendly staff made up for it.

Free parking on site was provided. They offer high-speed internet accessin all rooms, which allows you to work from the hotel. Ideal place for a trip in Guangzhou.

It has a beautiful scenery through the window in the room. It was good to take a walk around the lake in front of hotel. Especially the sound of birds singing was fantastic in the earlly morning.

It is so far from down town.

The place has a nice design and is conveniently located a short walk away from lakes and greenery.

Excellent hotel. Located in a picturesque location. The downside for me was the distance from the city. But I recommend to visit this wonderful place. The hotel can order Horsham massage and spa treatments. In one shop I ordered a costume and sewing shirts for my size. And it is very inexpensive!

Beautiful hotel and property but needs a facelift and more modern bedroom features.

The staff's service and communication skills are almost non-existent. This is my fifth and final stay here since the service has reached a new low level that is not commensurate with a 5 star facility.

We arrived at the Guangzhou Phoenix City Hotel and were immediately impressed by the stunning European paintings adorning the lobby ceiling. The staff, although their English was basic, went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, spacious, and came with a beautiful fruit platter and a welcome note from the hotel. The hotel provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and the free shuttle bus made it easy to explore nearby cafes and restaurants. we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to others.

staff they don`t speak English good

The scenery and pure nature of the place.

The spoken language (English) was not satisfactorial...

This hotel is in a grand palace that resembles Venetian architecture, towering above the skyline. It provides a tranquil oasis with plenty of trees and beautiful exotic plants. the spacious room has an impersonal ambiance with comfortable and hard mattresses, and a TV with over 60 local channels. Buffet meals are great, especially breakfast and dinner, and the pool area has an impressive size. Guests can explore the small village nearby with transportation services from the hotel.

Everything describes this hotel is good, except its location. Very far from everything. Cost $50 every time you want to go to downtown.

Spa Services

The service in both restaurants was not good enough. The service personal is not skilled and somehow lazy. In addition to that, the hotel changes fake money. I received 100 rmb which I could not use. I have changed money two times. It was an official exchange office.

Walking at this hotel is like walking in a palace. the stunning marble floors, the intricately designed ornaments and the grand chandeliers in the lobby scream luxurious and exclusive. Our expectations were exceeded when the staff warmly welcomed and helped us with our luggage. the room was spacious and neat and had exclusive amenities such as a well, stocked minibar and a fancy coffee maker. the spa & wellness centre were top, notch and offered multiple massage options that we absolutely enjoyed.

The only minor issue we had was that the Sauna was too crowded. Despite arriving early, we had to wait in line and did not feel comfortable using them.

Breakfast Buffet was good.

Air Conditioning in my room did not work too well. Too far away from the Canton Fair.
